You´re my brightest shining star

Mando Diao pro Japonsko. Stačí objednat si tričko s potiskem Mando Diao a přispějete tak na Červený kříž operující v postiženém Japonsku. Cena je 15 Euro.

Like everyone else, after witnessing the recent events in Japan, we were moved to contribute to the rescue and recovery efforts. We were encouraged by all the initiatives taken by our fans in Japan but also all the support that came through the Mando Diao community.

One of the ideas that was suggested was to raise money in support for the recovery efforts by the sale of Mando Diao merchandise. Together with the members of our street team and our Merchandise partner, Bravado, we are excited to start an initiative to benefit the Japanese Red Cross.

For one week we will be collecting orders for a very special and exclusive t-shirt. The design comes from the Mando Diao Citizen Special Unit in Tokyo – Tokyo Towers. It was designed by Sayuri Katsuyama and we remember when we received the t-shirts when we met their group on our last trip in Japan.

That design comes from our Japanese fan club, together with the text United Citizens of Ochrasy – One Blood, One Heart, One Soul serves as a fitting message for how this community can work together to support each other when disaster strikes.

Starting today, Thursday March 31st until Thursday April 7th you can pre-order your t-shirt online in our webshop and on
Bravado.de.

Following the order period Bravado will produce and ship the t-shirts to you. Bravado and Mando Diao will forward all of their shares to the Japanese Red Cross.

We believe that together we can make a big contribution.

Regards,

Mando Diao

Tato akce je už druhou akcí Mando Diao a Mando Diao citizens na pomoc katastrofou zasaženému Japonsku.

When all birds they aint singing

This particular version of How We Walk from this year´s concert in Hamburg makes me cry. It´s fucking great.

You´ve got me hiding

So this is how looks the cooperation between Mando Diao and The Salazar Brothers;-)

What did you do in the studio when you weren´t recording music? We´ve heard that Mando love to play video games, is that something you like to do aswell?
Salla: We are not so fond of video games...But we have a foos ball game at Redline, where we had a lot of tournaments...Even today Björn and Gustaf appears from time to time just to take a coffee and play foos ball...

No I certainly did not say that

Oh poor Gustaf. ;-)

And all the love I’ve got in here

Since you’re down there, where will I just be

Justa a few fragments from one interview, dated again Down to the past, concretely to 2007.

You are often portayed as cocky and hefty. Are you?
Björn: No, I don´t think we are really. We just say what we think - unlike many others.
CJ: We are working to be good people. Sometimes you´re not, just like everybody else.

You seem to be quite tough and cool, but are you talking feelings with each other?
CJ: It´s a hug and hit in the back. No, it´s not ...hahaha...
Björn: Well, yeah! We are very good at doing that. We have become better at talking actually. Any problems you have, we talk about that. And yes, all fun things, too.

Have you thrown out a TV from the hotel room some time?
Björn: No, it´s fucking lame.
Mats: The worst thing we have done is to set a napkin on fire once.
Björn: It was a towel.
Mats: Oh yes, that´s right. We set a towel on fire in a lodge once. It´s not so cool maybe.

What makes you happy?
CJ: What makes me happy is Midsummer, crayfish dinner, family and good company. Christmas Eve also - I love the preparations! This year, I think I will cook my own red cabbage again. (The others laugh)
Mats: Very much happieness about the fans also. Now I realize that we release the new album, so I´m pretty happy about that too.
