I never wrote it down

I´ll tell you a secret. The best festival ever. You wanna know the name? Let´s see. This festival takes place in the one of the most beautiful cities of the world. (Gustaf´s Norén´s words.) This year will celebrate 20th anniversary and will bring probably all of the most important bands/musician for me right now. Mando Diao, Placebo, Paolo Nutini, The Vaccines and about thousands names that I wanna hear live like The Hurts, The Subways, Beatsteaks... This festival was always way too special. One year played there Manu Chao together with Mando Diao, on the same day.

Also this festival takes place in a city where once, down in the past, in the very same year I was born, took place very special concert of a very special band called Queen. And as Freddie Mercury said if he had to name one place that represents Magic for him, it would be this city, this very concert.

Cause I was kind of a Queen nerd I followed his words and discovered the most important place for me, practically by accident, if you look at it that way. Place that actually gave me Mando Diao, this whole new world I´m living in now, place where I met the Ochrasy, so to speak.

There are many more signs that has to be told, but maybe some other time. Let´s reveal this huge secret.

This is the best festival ever. If you have time, go there. Go to Budapest. You will never forget.

So interesting Upcoming shows, that´s why I share it. Just Peace&Love is missing... and maybe the Czech Republic...? (or not...) Cause honestly I dislike Rock For People and Colours of Ostrava doesn´t seem very real to me.  Sziget is absolutely the best choise you could ever do, Mando Diao (and Carlos).

Five years run by so fast

I can´t leave nostalgia at home... sorry, Budapest. And I still can´t function properly. Budapest, Budapest you´re the queen of my heart. You did it again. 

We can build a new tomorrow, today

There´s a limited amount of happines one can stand. Now I think I´ve crossed that line. I can´t even describe all those feelings I have in me right now. It´s just too much to tell. And well, it´s hard to explain it all. It simply means TOO MUCH for me to see Mando Diao on SZIGET festival again and together with PLACEBO... it´s just more that I dared to dream about. I will cry like a little child and I´ll be pathetic and stupid and whatever... but this news got me falling down on my knees.

The whole morning I was listening to Placebo again, after lots of years... I don´t know why I actually choose this CD today instead of Sugarplum Fairy that constantly stays in my CD player. Just today. Placebo. And then I opened Facebook and saw it.

I´m not really sure if I´m able to calm down now.

I would like to dedicate this song to Budapest

This news has nothing to do with Mando Diao, but on the other hand it has everything to do with Mando Diao. Hungarian festival called SZIGET that traditionaly takes place on Óbudai island in Budapest (island - sziget in hungarian, that´s why it´s called like this:-) ) won the award as a BEST of the biggest European festivals.
