Strövtåg i Göteborg

Yesterday was a long day in Göteborg. In Bengans Mando Diao played three songs live: Snigelns Visa, Strövtåg i Hembygden and En Sångarsaga. Then Gustaf, Björn, Mats and CJ were signing some fan stuff. It was a long, awesome day full of Swedish music, full of Infruset.

Little bit late, but still. One year ago, October tour and the very first concert from this event - Munich on 4th October. The Swedish song played for the first time. And don´t forget the new album will be released SOON! 31. October, to be exact.

Jag älskar dig

Some time ago I wrote to this blog one post about Mando Diao in the Czech Republic. I was so angry and I had no expectations regarding the upcoming show on the Open Air Panenský Týnec. Well, now I´m taking all that back. I made a mistake. But let´s take it from the very beginning, right? 

Mando Diao played three shows recently. In Switzerland, Czech Republic and in Hungary. I won´t talk about the first one. But I´ll tell you something about those two shows I´ve mentioned.
The second time in the Czech Republic. Mando Diao on the Open Air Panenský Týnec. And our Unit had to be there. The whole festival surprised me a lot. It had nice atmosphere, it was just a small event, but with lots of interesting bands. Especially with Mando Diao:) 

Before the show our Unit got the opportunity to meet the guys backstage. The meeting was... well...unforgetable. Carlos took us through VIP tents to the dark parking lot where we shared some moments with Gustaf, Björn, Mats, CJ, Patso and Daniel. We took photos, got some signs and memories that nobody takes away from us. Let´s watch some pictures... 

Guys signed our czech flag we used to take to some shows. We literally got them on their knees. Even without high heels.

Then the show began. And I just wanna say THANK YOU czech audience, you were wonderful! The whole crowd went crazy, singing all the songs. Gustaf sang part of You can´t steal my love in Swedish for us, then he cut the "ass kissing" for tonight. It was Stunning. Can´t say more. It was rare and it was unique. We all enjoyed it a lot. And I was proud that they liked it here and that this country liked them too.

Five years run by so fast

Today I went throught some of my Mando Diao stuff I had, old tickets from concerts, maps of the cities I´ve been to because of them, confirmations from different accomodations, Peace & Love maps, programmes, that bag in which I bought my Mtv Unplugged vinyl in Borlänge... all those feelings are still hidden inside that folder. It´s like the smell of that certain moment that survives on all those things.

It was awesome. Every single minute of that travelling in chase of one lovely dream. I loved it. And I hope there are still left some more adventures called "Mando Diao madness". Because it all worth it.
However I feel part of it is over now. That naive feeling is gone. Time for a change, I guess. For something new. It was Mando Diao that brought me here, everything what happened last two and half a year was because of them. Yeah, simply as that. But not now.
I´d love to keep this blog alive, because it conserves great part of my life, all that makes sense. Nevertheless I´m affraid I won´t have so much time in upcoming.... life. I will try to do my best. Because Mando Diao is love of my life. Always will be. No matter how Caligola they are now and how much I hate it.
If there are still some readers of my blog I just wanna say THANK YOU! Thanks for reading and writing me awesome messages. Now it´s not only Mando Diao that makes me write posts here, but especially YOU all. Thank you again!

I don't regret it in spite of it all

During the last 4 weeks, Mando Diao played several shows. In Croatia and in Italy, to say it loud and clear. And there are still 3 shows to come. One in Switzerland, in the Czech Republic (yeees, it´s true) and in Hungary (oh yeeeah). There are also some cool posibilities concerning Meet&Greet. So go to mandodiao.com and see what you can do to meet the guys in those three upcoming shows!
And what about the two gigs? Well, hell let´s look at it!

Meanwhile those two concerts took place, I was in Sweden and saw Caligola. My opinion hasn´t changed at all. It was interesting to see, it was (sometimes) great, musicwise. But I stick to Mando Diao.  

Peace&Love festival felt different without MD. Comparing to the last year, this one was really about The New World. Everything´s changed. There was no Mando Diao, not so much coincidences, but there was lot of hope, love, craziness and wonderful sunsets over Borlänge sky. And there was one Sugarplum Fairy concert sailing far away from doubts that will never vanish. 

It felt like a lifetime there...

This video is pretty cool. All My Senses from Berlin, 2nd June 2011. The best concert I´ve ever experienced. Hope this guys are still somewhere, hidden behind those black capes and that they will show this passion and energy and love again, soon.

Smíšené pocity ohledně vystoupení Mando u nás. Hodně smíšené. Konečně. A zároveň... možná trochu pozdě. Nebo snad raději vůbec? No nakonec jsme to dokázali, pokud jsme s tím vůbec měli něco společného. A je to fajn. Vlastně je to fajn. Snad to bude stát za to. Mando Diao u nás.

Oh man, why are people so stupid, mean and arrogant? What a naive question, right? But why these people have to be connected with Mando Diao? I just have to concentrate on the music. On the people that makes sense. Ignoring the rest.
